CBN (the Cannabinol Cannabinoid) found in cannabis may be the most important compound when it comes to improving your sleep. CBN forms when the THC in cannabis degrades due to over exposure to air or ultraviolet light. This also results in less psychoactive properties.

But dont let its lack of potency put you off, as what it loses in potency it makes up for with its therapeutic effects. Not only is it thought to promote sleep but it also shows evidence of assisting with anti-inflammatory and pain relief.

Improving your sleep with the use of CBN may help relive some of the hangover type feelings experienced with prescription medication and could be a new tool in the toolkit to help improve the one of most important important aspects of our wellbeing.

CBDa and CBGa (compounds found in hemp) are shown to effectively protect against the 2 most widespread strains of Covid-19.

Researchers from Oregon State University have released data showing how these cannabis compounds bind to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, blocking the virus from infecting people.

“These compounds can be taken orally and have a long history of safe use in humans,” said Richard van Breemen, a researcher with Oregon State’s Global Hemp Innovation Center. “They have the potential to prevent as well as treat infection by SARS-CoV-2”.

The full research data can be found here.
